A pair of cottages of early or mid C19 origns.
Solid rendered walls with a slated roof and a rendered chimney onthe left end wall. Two storeys high, with a garret.
Each cottage is one window wide with a doorway to the right.
No.2 has a late C20 small-paned wood glazed door and windows, the latter with transom-lights.
No.3 has the original door with two flush bottom panels; the upper part glazed in C20.
Windows are plain wood frames with 6-paned sashes.. Small boxed eaves-cornice and two dormers with pent-roofs;
Subsidiary features: in front of the cottages is a small terrace with a stone rubble retaining wall which rises to form a parapet. At the left-hand end is a C19 iron gate with spear-head uprights, alternately tall and short.
