Brixham Walks

Brixham has a diverse and interesting historical background, underpinned by its location by the sea and deep-rooted fishing industry. The town is already well known as a tourist attraction, but visitors may be missing out on items and areas of interest linked to Brixham’s history and natural aspects. BATS (Brixham Arts & Theatre Society) commissioned Dave Barter of Nautoguide to create a set of “interactive walk” maps of Brixham, allowing people to explore and discover the diverse artistic, heritage and natural features of the town.

brixhamwalks.org works on phones and computers alike, is easy to use and easy to share. Acting as a guide, it leads you through various different routes, through locations, providing relevant details and historical facts concerning these locations. Providing a simple to follow and use map it uses your current location and automatically displays the information for the location in formats suitable for disability access requirements.
